Leadership

Apostle Lamar and Sheila McKnight are the founders and overseers of Saints In Action Christian Outreach Church and Lamar McKnight Ministries located in Montgomery, Alabama. Lamar and Sheila are both natives of Montgomery, Alabama having been born and raised.  They are high school sweethearts and had been married over 36 awesome years.  Together they have a son and daughter-in-law, three granddaughters and one grandson.
 In 1983, they attended Lakewood Church under the spiritual leadership of Pastor John Osteen in Houston, Texas.  Apostle Lamar attended and completed Lakewood Bible College and both were called into full time ministry in April 1985.  In the late nineties, Prophet Bill Hammon laid hands on Lamar and Sheila for the Apostle Mantle.  Since that time Apostle Lamar and Sheila, along with Saints In Action Church, have been under the covering of Christian International in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
 Apostle Lamar and Sheila McKnight have been faithfully serving in ministry for 30 years. They both have ministered in many conferences and churches throughout the U.S and internationally.  Currently they have two churches under Saints In Action Ministry – Jubilee Christian Center in Nassau, Bahamas and Faith, Hope and Love Church in Kennesaw, Georgia.  They mentor and counsel many pastors and their wives, as well as, people of all walks of life.
